Oregon City Family Practice’s legacy site was a basic informational page with minimal visual hierarchy and no clear path to schedule appointments.

  • Primary pain point: Visitors had to hunt for contact details and appointment instructions.
  • Business goal: Boost online appointment bookings, improve site’s design, and lower bounce rates on key service pages.

Snapshot description:
The original site featured a plain header with small logo text, a crowded multi-level menu, and body content that blended together without section breaks. Important actions like “Make an Appointment” were tucked into submenus rather than front and center OCFPC.

  • Design issues:
    • No visual focal point or hero section
    • Dense navigation with too many clicks to reach patient forms
    • Unstyled text blocks; no imagery to reinforce trust
  • Technical issues:
    • Static HTML with unoptimized images
    • No responsive layout for mobile
    • Missing meta descriptions and structured data

The redesigned site is a mobile-first, conversion-driven portal with clear calls to action and staff highlights.

  • Sticky top bar with phone number and one-click “Request Appointment” link
  • Service overview cards for Family Medicine, Preventive Care, Chronic Disease Management with hover states
  • Provider carousel spotlighting each physician’s photo, name, and specialty
  • Integrated patient portal CTA within the hero and sidebar of every page
